How the hell can you be shot for ringing a doorbell or going into the wrong driveway?

It’s time to publish pictures of the dead mutilated children.

Maybe post them outside of gun shops and wherever there is an anti-abortion demonstration.

republicans collecting the dead knowing they would all vote republican and insuring they were on the voting roles for 2024.

The vast majority of victims are nameless souls killed in the streets every day. The left uses the outliers to push their agenda of letting criminals be the only ones with guns.

Like republicons care about the bodies of the dead.

You can be shot, if you are Black, because this is America.

How are we a violent culture, let us count the ways:

Stand your ground laws give the paranoid and hateful a license to kill.

People who listen to conservative “commentators” are convinced that someone, anyone, is out to get them, and they have to protect themselves by buying more and more guns. Then when someone they don’t know drives in their driveway or knocks on their door, they get out that gun and start shooting. Meanwhile the gun makers are raking in the money and spending some of it on politicians and fake news outlets who promise to continue the madness.

If the GQP is not a cult then let them explain why we cannot adopt laws that the rest of the world uses for everyone which allow for sporting firearms but otherwise use logic and common sense so that they do not experience shootings in a year or more that the US sees in less than an average day

Hmm. I see two things wrong with the cart load. White & old guys are not typically the ones being mowed down.

This is a sadly amazing commentary on today in the country.

Perhaps.. if the media reported on the political affiliation of those getting shot (or needing abortions) the republicans would realize it is their own kind that is getting shot (or needing abortions). Pretty sure the consensus is that only democrats get shot etc.. so it really don’t matter.

STAND YOUR GROUND laws:

Where anyone may use a gun or any other weapon and act as lawman, judge, jury, and executioner based upon their perception (either following deliberation or instantaneous) of the immediate hostile/harmful intent of another person.

Existing legal statutory definitions of conditions which justify said perception(s) are presently only applicable post-event.

The object (person) of stand-your-ground perceptions has to be wounded or killed by a stand-your-ground actor (or proof established that such an actor intended to inflict harm/injury by firing a gun, wielding a club/knife, used fists, steered a moving automobile, etc) before a stand-your-ground incident transpires.

Therefore, evaluation of said action by a stand-your-ground actor can only take place post hoc — after said actor has attacked, injured, or killed someone.

STAND YOUR GROUND is like self-defense, except that an actually manifested action is not necessary. A STAND YOUR GROUND actor may harm or kill based upon their Carnac the Magnificent-style “mental processes”.

Probably the only way to eliminate these laws will be for a sufficient number of RWNJ judges, lawyers, and politicians to personally experience the victimization of loved ones.

Gun owners, are, in my opinion losers. Big time losers.

Fact 1.] They have little “weenies” and they think a gun will compensate for their littleness. “I’m a tough guy now. Gun make me big man.” This isn’t a use of bad English by me. That’s how gun sissy-Marys talk.

Fact 2.] They are cowards, afraid of the boogeyman or the monster next door.

Fact 3.] They think the kindergarten children in the school across the street are too noisy and he will quiet them down by killing everyone in the school.

Again, they are losers.

The sacrifice we all have to make to that a few nutjobs can have as much firepower as they want.

Too many Jesus freaks out there didn’t get his full message. They just stopped after “Suffer the little children.”

How about all of the people that die from alcohol? We need to ban alcoholic consumption in America.
