We’ve all done things we aren’t proud of.*

Anyway, whatever we did, whatever was done to us, the hardships we went through, turned us into the beautiful human beings we are today.

And THAT is something to be proud of!

I would’ve traded all that for a life as a rich, spoiled playboy brat surrounded by fake friends and opportunistic women, that had everything fed to him on a golden spoon, though…

    *This is not a confession.

It gets better, though. One reaches a point where it is realized that reality could not possibly have been the same thing as what one remembers.

It all looked like good ideas at the time.

If you ever look back on your life and cringe about things that you have done, it means that you have grown.

Yep, that lag time is sooo annoying. And inconvenient.
