Opal is a real b**l buster.

There comes a time in marriage when separate bedrooms start to look like a good idea. Opal might be able to tell me where I can’t sleep, but no way will she tell me where I can sleep. To the guest room!

Kinda reminds me of me and the GF, in the other way. I like having the radio on, light talk chatter which is occasionally informative. She likes quiet, which I find oppressive, like being in solitary. Maybe because I’m an only chile, she’s from a large family.

Enjoy the sofa Earl and REALLY enjoy the silence!

Just pretend your avoiding chores and taking a Nap.

Life is ‘accommodation’ every day. With age there are more.

Order a more comfortable sofa. It has to be better than sleeping next to Opal.

Odd thought in the early morning:If a husband locked his wife out of the bedroom and she had to sleep on the couch, would that be considered Domestic Abuse…?

Sleeping on the couch my be a bummer, but at least you don’t have to worry about Opal’s yapping.

Silence can seem oppressive. The wife and I always have some music softly playing.

Apparently Earl would prefer to sleep next to someone who looks like Opal rather than enjoy the comfort of a good sofa. Not me.

Earl you are bad. Only time when I do not want to talk when I am reading. I just finished ebook, husband tries to talk I have to stop reading to talk with him.
