I feel like this isn’t the first “Lillian calls 911 before Ed does something” strip I’ve seen. Or the second.

If Ed can’t keep his bus from crashing into Keesterman’s mailbox, methinks he has no bizznizz up there on the ladder with a flame thrower !!

All she really needed so say to the 911 operator is “Ed Crankshaft” and they would be on their way.
