    Pot (George Santos) calling the kettle (Kevin McCarthy) black. Of course, Liar George Santos joins Kevin McCarthy as a LOSER, not only for his long history of lying about his education, his employment history, his family history, his religion, how (and how many times) his mother died, but because, so far, George Santos has voted for McCarthy on every ballot. They belong together.

    As for McCarthy, I’ve been watching as the House completes its FOURTH, FIFTH and SIXTH ballots trying to elect a Speaker, with Kevin McCarthy going down in flames each time.

    History of ballots:

    First and second ballots — 19 Republican defections

    Third ballot — 20 Republican defections

    Fourth, fifth and sixth ballots — 21 Republican defections

    The trend is moving in the wrong direction for McCarthy and it looks like he will NOT be the next Speaker and, with no one waiting in the wings, it could be a long stalemate, with every day representing further humiliating, embarrassing FAILURE for Republicans — the Party of CHAOS.

    This latest vote also represents another FAILURE for LOSER TRUMP.

    After all but one of this LOSER’s chosen, endorsed candidates for Senator, Governor, Secretary of State or Attorney General in the five swing states FAILED in last November’s election, he took a neutral stance in yesterday’s THREE McCARTHY FAILED BALLOTS.

    After yesterday’s humiliation, Trump called some congressmen to use his political capital to come out and support McCarthy but, instead of helping McCarthy, the opposition grew.

    McCarthy = LOSER

    Trump = LOSER

    Republicans = Incompetent PARTY OF CHAOS

    Why are your rules so convoluted that the loser wins 9 times out of 10. Only dictatorships and failed states have the same.

    As Republicans edge toward a post-Trump era, they find a new identity: The Santos Party.

    What in the world has happened to the Republican party? The crazier or the more dishonest you are, the more they love you.

    It is rumored that the AJC is headed for digital format and a Sunday print edition. Maybe Luckovich will need to supplement his income elsewhere. I am more interested in whether the digital edition will still have more current news, The current AJC hasn’t much of value to offer usually being at least a day late on the news and having a noticeable left of center slant. I laughed out loud when I was solicited to donate money to save journalistic excellent. My wife cannot understand why I even spend what I do on the digital edition.

    I think, maybe, that the country would function just fine without a GOP led house.

    FEC flags George Santos’ political committee for suspicious contributions

    Reports on Congressman-elect George Santos (R-NY) from the Federal Election Commission contain a number of oddities related to his campaign’s spending, including exorbitant expenses on air travel and hotels, CNN has reported. “The only time during which money was being unwisely spent by the campaign was by a firm that was fired approximately one year before Election Day and a new team was brought in,” Joe Murray, a lawyer for Santos, said in a statement to CNN on Saturday.

    If.. McCarthy gets that gavel.. having sold his soul to all the kooks.. it will be interesting to watch the republicans and Fox News spin this “gong show” as healthy dialog.

    The disclosures of Hunter Biden’s laptop reveals the machinations of Biden Inc. Not, just Hunter’s depravity. Which will be part of a House committee’s investigation.
