We found a lost pup a few weekends ago (a labradoodle – goodness, what energy!) and drove around for hours looking for her owner. With all the social media I posted, it was my sweetie’s poster-onna-stick that got her home!
I have Dalmatians, and you may be surprised at how well Dalmatians blend into the snow. The spots blend in and do not stand out, it makes it appear more like shadows in areas with trees or bushes.
This is a lovely strip! And proves that Mortimer’s extraordinary abilities are not limited to helping humans!Interestingly, Mortimer’s abilities do have some plausibility. There was Ginny, the dog who rescues cats (See book of the same title) who had an uncanny ability to nose out cats who were desperately in need of help. And when I was looking Ginny up (I couldn’t recall her name) I found that there is a similar book out there: MOLLY, THE DOG WHO RESCUES CATS.Molly apparently works with a pet detective.

Don’t worry lady, Dalmatians are always spotted.(We had one, he did take off and was spotted. Small town though, that helps.)

Jojo did not answer the question. Sunny asked if he has seen the dog, it is a Yes or No question, not an accusation.

Police stations do not put up Lost Dog posters. The owner would do that.
