Hard to stay warm when you’re going surf boarding in the winter

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Mom surfing in extreme weather. Seagull is outside with them instead of inside with the boys—interesting, since he has been shown to love creature—er—human—comforts.

Mom knows her priorities. But it is nice that the family still shows her the love.

When Mom’s away the boys will play.

here in southern maine there are at least 5 people surfing every day all throughout the winter, even yesterday, when we got 6 inches of snow.

You know the first 4 panels are a video call the boys are on. Mom’s the recipient! Tuna casserole for dinner!

Surfers are crazy dedicated.

Bottom line is each of us has different ideas of fun. However, not a big fan of surfers surfing alone looking like a seal in bad weather…..

The kite surfers will suit up in their wet suits and head to our Lake Michigan beach in November when we get a big blow. Not me.
