Sorry to leave the tree people ‘out in the cold’, but we bought an artificial tree in 1995 at a price we felt was high but the quality earned it. Up and decorated every Christmas since and still looking good, It has become just as much of a tradition with us as any other part of the holidays.

The tree did not survive Xmas (The most commercialized holiday).

Jeff, I don’t know if people are ever going to get that you are worried about inflation.

There’s nothing like the smell of pine at Christmas time!

I haven’t put up a tree for about 8-9 years. My kitties …..☹️But the house is decorated and festive!

Some people [Stahler] just don’t understand inflation. Or don’t want to.

Buy less throw-away junk for X-mas and inflation will go down.

The best way to curb inflation is not to participate. Don’t pay the inflated prices, make do with less or without. Prices “always” reflect what the market will bear.

Artificial tree for years. Cats still do their thing. Or at least try.

Trees in a house as a “Christmas Thing” might go the way of the Yule Log.

The tree may have survived drought and fires, but not Christmas
