Serves the durned elephant right. Don’t worry though, they’ll be back kissing Trump’s rump and being obstructionists as sopn as they gather their wits…
When he was president, I used to ask my right leaning friends what was so special about his accomplishments (their perception) that couldn’t have been done my any of a number of GOP pols. Never got a good answer, but I suspect it was simply that he “owned the Libs” better. Maybe the midterms are the beginning of the end of that mindset?
Golly it looks like Mister Breen did not know that the GQP killed off that elephant years if not decades ago. The last two real Republican died quite awhile ago and the stalwart and brave GQP cult vilified them but of course only after they were dead and could not possibly respond for themselves. Otherwise they would have been civil but sharp and to the point which are things that the GQP will never ever master in the very least. Breen will be back in a day or two with another tush kissing praise of some GQP twit
Hilarious how the orange faithful are abandoning the albatross around their extremist right wing necks today. Thought you liked the stench of rotting omen right under your nose?
You can blame Trump for Tuesday’s results. Or you can blame the godawful Trumpist candidates who were on the ballots. Or you can blame the deplorable MAGAs who put those candidates there. That seems to be half of the current GOP, if not more.
You can’t win with him, and you can’t win without him; what are you going to do if he takes his base/ball and goes home?
The Conservative Republicans have been horrible for a long time. Stealing from the poor to give to the rich is something they’ve been doing since Reagan. Perhaps before. They have also sheltered the criminals in their party. Not just the sexual predators, but a president and vice president that committed war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan, when they started illegal wars. Yes, I’m looking at you W. Bush, Cheney, and so many of those in your administrations.
It looks like both sides still ended up with some seriously awful people. I think it must have been a case of “anybody but the opponent” rather than “Oh, I think he/she will be such a great addition to that office.” That being said, it does look like Trump is beginning to lose his stranglehold on the Republican Party, and that’s a good thing.
It isn’t Trump. It’s the people who support Trump and nominate these people. Get rid of Trump? Fine. It won’t change anything. You can’t get rid of them. You can only attract them. How? By out-Trumping Trump.

Could it be that the actual silent majority is socially liberal not socially conservative?

You can blame one man for everything. After all , that’s the GOP way; but, the fact is the GOP AGENDA is what done them in.

And yet few Repubs are coming out against Trump and how his delusions and rants are hurting the party.
