I thank every veteran for their service, wherever in our world. I live in a country that would be completely different now if we didn’t have dedicated, selfless soldiers protecting our borders and giving the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Respect.

Well, thank you very little.

She learned that in school. Take from those who have to give to those who don’t. Probably Social Study class. The lesson should have been I planted some flowers for Mr. Baldwin.

Wow, Brutus has a garden. I thought he only had time for watching TV after work. Now, he is a gardener, too.

I hope he forgives her. She can’t exactly buy him flowers yet from her job. Maybe in a few years. Perhaps in the spring Brutus can start teaching her to help in the garden.

God bless all veterans past and present. They fight so we don’t have to. Lest we forget.

While I thank all vets, I have a special place in my heart for Vietnam vets. Most of them were drafted, and when they came home, they were vilified for doing their duty. It’s disgraceful that they were treated so poorly, and I hope that everyone who spat on them and called them murderers, feels guilty for doing so.

My dad was in WW2 in the Philippines. God Bless Our Military and Veterans. You have and do sacrifice so much for us. We owe you a debt that we can never pay.

let’s hope that we can soon have a world at peace and we won’t need to thank vets for their service anymore. i’m sure vets would rather have been doing something else if that had been an option…

Well, in that case, I KNOW they were costly!

My uncle was on a minesweeper in the Sea of Japan. Among other things, they rescued the crew of a downed bomber. When his tour was up, he decided not to re-enlist. About 6 months later, his ship and several others sank during a terrible typhoon. Had he re-enlisted, he would have been lost with the rest of the crew, and I never would have gotten to know the great man that he was.
