When something is as “visible” as the need for gov’t intervention after a hurricane, the GOP is all in for help. When it’s an abstraction that doesn’t involve them or make for a shocking visual, the purse is clutched firmly to chest because THOSE people are just lazy, liars and cheats, right?
Only about 15% of home owners in Florida purchased flood insurance (average about $600); how much help should we give to home owners who decided to gamble and not buy a policy? If FEMA makes them whole it makes those who had insurance fools, much like student loan forgiveness and those that paid off their loans.
NOTHING will change the vicious empty vessel, so called rumple! It’s all about him..I don’t understand why magas can’t see this? Are they that blind and stoooopid?
Now we need to restore places like Sanibel Island to its pre-columbian condition and leave the causeway in the Gulf. That would get some developer lobbyists in their congressman’s office really quick!
“You know there’s trouble between the brothers and sister People need to learn to get along Open up your hearts to one another brother Everybody work” (Larry Norman)
He, and more than 50 others, voted against a bill that included millions of dollars in pork-barrel handouts that had nothing to do with hurricane relief. As usual, the Dems loaded a bill designed for one purpose with extraneous political goodies for their pet places and projects.

My goal is to cut government in half in twenty-five years, to get it down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub.

Looks like the depiction of a competent government starting to assist victims of a disaster.

It should be a donkey helping the FLA since Republicans more or less uniformly voted against the aid. Get it right next time Ramirez.
