    He is a great salesman. He is an underwriter’s nightmare. Insurance isn’t designed to pay out when the insured signs the contract and before the first payment is cashed.

    I receive many solicitations in the mail for life Insurance, but when you read the fine print they don’t pay if you die soon after purchasing the policy. They will however return the premium that was paid in.

    He should be good at it — what’s a better incentive for buying life insurance than having the Grim Reaper show up at your door? And he can likely promise that he won’t be back around for a long time, since the insurance company would like to collect lots of premiums before having to pay out on a claim. But I suspect his heart (if he has one) just wasn’t in it.
