As the cartoon says, we were ALREADY sending migrants to many states to distribute the costs and social impact. The difference in this transfer to Martha’s Vineyard is DeSantis did not TELL them to prepare. It was unexpected. With proper planning it would not be a problem.

Tell you what, let’s say they had a right to be in MV. So why did the ALL ARE WELCOME crowd call the National Guard and have them deported not in days but hours? Why no condemnation of the MV residents. They could have taken them in, clothed, housed fed them. Rhetorical question: you don’t ever hear or see the uber wealthy work. A few calls from someone carrying a lot of weight and -POOF!

I see much whinging as how there was no housing on MV for them which is an absolute lie. Let me remind everyone that not only is MV an upscale residential area it’s also a go to vacation spot with plenty of hotels, B&Bs, rental homes and even tents. There was NO lack of living quarters available for those illegals. The only reason they were removed is because they were UNWANTED by the locals. Don’t believe me? Here:
