Keri is a freshman, right? So how is she old enough to have a driver’s license?

Auric Goldfinger called and he wants his gold ring props back. Something about smelting it back into the body of a Phantom III Rolls Royce.

P1 Mimi unwittingly strikes her best streetwalker pose in an attempt to feign making a casual request that Keri drive Jami to Luke-Luke’s house to avoid offending her by telling her to do it. In the meantime the ants silently and slowly move into position to look over Keri’s shoulder and eavesdrop on her Tic-Face app conversation.

P2 The ants are equally fascinated along with jslabotnik as they watch Keri’s magical appearing gold ring trick.

P3 Gil is overruled once again and further emasculated by Mimi.

Home alone? Will Keri invite Toby over for some transgender, non-binary fun, down and dirty good times?

Barajas cleverly has decided to make me read the comments just to see if I can figure out what’s going on.

Coaches Held Hostage: Coach Kaz, Day 91 of 95. A penny, nickel, dime, quarter, and half dollar — all the coins — add up to 91 cents. Off to Connecticut to attend a family event so no countdown tomorrow, but because Henry tipped us off, we know that Kaz will not reappear until September 27. Interesting to know the return date, but it takes the “suspense” out of the Coaches Held Hostage count.

“Only if I can stay home alone?” Nothing suspicious about that coming from a teen.

Has anyone seen pitcher of lemonade? The pitch called for me and I’m here to answer. Oh yeah.

Of course the pitch probably headed south at the exact second the clock struck 9:04 PM EST and autumn began, so I don’t expect an answer until March 2023, if at all.

Please, I need a show of hands. How many of us ever asked to stay home alone? As I recall (long, long ago) it just sort of happened. Also, what is a Meemaw?

P-4: (Jami is having trouble making friends.) It’s either Luke or that Outlaws Motorcycle club by the Pool Hall. They want him to get an ADIOS tattoo.

Gold jewelry and a quasi-mohawk…I bet Mr. T never imagined his style would ever be adopted by teenage girls.

You’re all penalized 87 points in the Scavenger Hunt for not noticing Keri’s Wife Beater shirt. (Very retro!)

Iggy Pop? Keri doesn’t strike me as a fan of ancient punk, but who knows? I guess she isn’t into The Linda Lindas like everyone else. And speaking of everyone else, you should be going to read Mopped Up Thorp right now, just like everyone else.

If you live out in the boonies like I do, your kids can get a farm permit – they can drive to and from school and work at 14. My son drove to school as a freshman. Not supposed to drive anywhere else though, and I don’t think Milford is quite a farm community! (Though when I was in high school, my whole state had the same rules and you didn’t have to live on a farm, I lived in the city and drove to school at 14).
