It has been “Teflon Don’s” modus operandi for his whole life. Lie, stall, counter sue, obfuscate, lie some more, delay, appeal, then settle with an NDA after everyone has forgotten about the original, years old issue. I guess that’s what “winning” looks like?
Maze as drawn is unsolvable. Jeff probably drew it that way. IRL, it is, as stated above, becoming more of a slam dunk. Hopefully one like Wiggins did over Luka in the playoff.
When the Law turns on “The Party of Law and Order,” The Party of Law and Order sets the law aside. After all, laws are only pieces of paper intended to be used only against the Enemies of the Party. That, in essence, is the Modern Republican Party, the Party of Law and Order. Not even ISIS or the Taliban could have said it better.
He is old, fat and his complexion looks like the surface of the moon. He is rich enough to hire lawyers to file every motion with any merit, then when that failed he was able to choose a judge, that he appointed, that will consider those with no merit whatsoever. He will keep this tied up in court for as long as it is necessary for them to be prosecuting a corpse. On the other hand, I hope that the real judgement of a person’s life will actually then take over the job. And, if heaven exists I doubt that it can be bought.
The Trumpster is doing what he always has when in legal problems and knows he’s guilty. Throw as many legal obstacles as he can until the prosecuting side gets tired of dealing with him. He’s also trying to stall until the November elections. If his party wins they will stop the investigation. That’s also why the judge that’s in his pocket gave him the Special Master process he wanted.

I don’t think it’s a dead end anymore. It is becoming more and more of a slam dunk.

You can’t prosecute Trump. It will embarrass him. That’s NOT allowed. No fair!
If I ever get involved in litigation, I’d like to be able to use this defense.

Extra, extra, read all about it. Trump appointed judge rules in Trump’s favor. MAGA wins again.

The ineptitude of the attorneys Trump is increasingly forced to use has boxed him in corners in GA and with the DOJ.

Maybe Trump doesn’t need another Roy Cohn; he seems to have mastered the Cohn playbook anyway.

It is really easy to prosecute someone even if said person did not even commit a crime.
