That, AND the whole women’s right to have control over their own bodies should be more than enough to prevent a vast majority of Americans from voting Republican ever again.

    SHOULD.

By speaking out against President Biden’s plan to forgive student loans, the party of Trump, the Republican Party, has once again shown that it does not care about the middle class. Never mind that the Republican Party had no problem with giving the rich and big businesses all those tax breaks. To the party, if it benefits the lower or middle class, then it must be bad.

Yeah, since those students couldn’t afford a PPP loan.

The New Deal practiced trickle up economics. While economists debate how well it worked, the strategy certainly improved confidence, a primary factor in all aspects of our lives.

Manchin and Sinema are a big part of the problem. They call themselves Democrats but when it comes to supporting the wealthy, they are completely on board.

    https://news.yahoo.com/sen-kyrsten-sinema-cozying-wall-140007229.html

Their obstruction of the infrastructure improvements and economic changes to benefit regular people over the wealthy and corporations allow Repubs to make the claim that the Dems can’t get things accomplished. Manchin and Sinema are far more interested in lining their own pockets and those of their donors.

Hopefully there is a BLUE wave this year. Then we need to find better Dem candidates in 2024 when both of these Senators are up for re-election.

Certain logic there.. Having a debt means you need to work.. and building homes and yachts require lots of workers. Cancel debt and the whole thing collapses

LOL “second homes”. The kinds of handouts we give rich people these days lets them buy a 3rd or 4th home, maybe even a 3rd or 4th yacht. That “second home” stuff was only true in the 1980s when this downslide began.

This “giving money to rich bankers by forgiving student loans” falls into the bad stimulus category. It’s not surprising that the Democrats would help out their donors just like Obama helped out his donors with the Solyndra bail-out. The rank and file Democrats are just too stupid to see they’re being lied to yet again!

The stock market is the only measure of the economy Republicans know. The Dow Jones as a measure of the economy could only be dreamed up by a mentally disabled economist on an acid trip
