No, but you do a great job keeping patients alive. If you had to choose between the two…..

A lot of domestic cacti die from over-watering. In the wild they don’t have to worry about some diligent owner pouring water on them every day.

A doctor just killed a plant? How ironic.

I can kill a succulent in no time. It doesn’t seem to matter how often I water it.

People tend to kill cacti by giving them too much water, or not enough light. Not enough water will kill them, too, but it takes a lot longer.

I could never get orchards to survive my house. Even in a well lit bathroom where humidity is high. Cactus in our planters which my hubby loves and it thrives!

I have a green thumb with my outdoor plants and landscaping, still do okay if I keep them on the sunroom. Inside the house…they’re doomed! Too many variables inside and my worst attempt was an orchid. Read up and did everything suggested, still died.

In 7th or 8th grade we made shoebox dioramas of some part of North America. I got Baja California, so I got some sand and bought a small barrel cactus, lopped the roots of it, and pushed a nail up through the middle of it to hold it in place. They hung them up around the top of the blackboard and left them there all year. After about three months the cactus got a flower on it. No water, no roots, and apparently thriving.
