Actually, it should be pluggers don’t care how long they have to circle the parking lot to get a place up front.

Even if it’s in a n open meadow, right?

One day my wife scored a spot close to her job under a tree and was so grateful it was available. Come the end of tbe day she realized just why that particular spot under that tree was available. It was a perfect nesting tree and her car, well….she never parked there again. Tru story!

I’m tripping on the fact that She’s breaking the fourth wall to talk to us. I don’t recall Plugger characters do that before, did I miss some?

I’d like to park

Where it’s cool and dark

In an octopus’ garden

In the shade…

Not he get his exercise with his daily walk in the woods?

I find shady spots that are farther away, so I park there to get a bit longer walk for exercise as well as keep the car about 10 degrees cooler. Use it or lose it.

Nothing wrong with exercise. We have legs with feet not roots .

They had better hope a squirrel or snake doesn’t get in under the hood.

If we are in the KAI, an easy to identify location is most important. It’s short. If we are in the Sprinter van, it needs maneuvering room.

Sap and bird droppings to greet you on return.

From personal experience, it’s definitely a Texas thing ;)

I don’t care about shade; I just care about finding a space without having to drive around and around. I always head for the furthest spot in the lot; no muss, no fuss, and walking gets me to the door while 6 other idiots are still driving around in circles looking for a parking spot.

This was us yesterday at our Lowes hardware store, parked way out by the edge where the trees were shading. My wife said, it’ll be cool coming back and we get our steps in!

When I lived in Phoenix, any little twig with a leaf would count as enough shade for parking.

When I try that, my car ends up covered in bird crap.
