Kids need to learn that everything they do should not be for money, but teaching responsibility, cleaning their rooms, etc is a start.

Kids sort of have to go from milk to money from Mom. Weaning is hard, but rewarding for all.

Since school was my boy’s job, they got “paid” based on their grades plus a minimum “base pay”. I also taught them how to manage their money. They are in their 40’s now.
