Here’s something else to think about. Federal law prohibits candidates for political office from accepting money from foreign nationals. But, after Citizens United, corporations are treated as people, and there’s no limit to the amount of stock foreign nationals can own in American corporations. So which of them, do you suppose, are simply money-laundering operations for Moscow, Beijing, Tehran, etc.?

How about all the companies changing their name to their initials. For instance, “First National Bank of Omaha” is now “FNBO”. It’s probably a prelude to buying banks outside of Omaha.
