    Oh… my… head… It hurts… I’m agreeing with Ramirez…!

I respectfully submit that the caption should be: “A plugger can repair a washing machine, but can’t keep his shirt clean”. Not ‘been there, done that’, but ‘AM there, AM that’…

This is one of my all-time favorites of this strip. Before Covid (BC), I used to post comics on the outside of my cube wall, as I was on a main aisle. THIS one got by far the most guffaws…

…and may we all agree that we can disagree; without tribalism or villainizing the other person…

    Hey! I resemble that remark!!

Ow, ow, OW, my head!! I find myself agreeing with Ramirez!

I live in a very rural setting, and have had mice IN the house a couple times. Throwing away food from the pantry, we stopped counting at $300 worth. That, plus rewashing all the contents of the drawers and sanitizing the drawers… I now use an exterminator who has a dozen traps and a similar amount of bait stations under the house, plus bait stations inside the house and garage, all serviced quarterly. These are impervious to dogs; I know as we’ve had some very clever dogs, and they can’t get into them. The bait they use dissipates extremely quickly after it kills, thereby protecting the local raptor population.

Thank you so much. It’s difficult to convey the depth of emotion in short postings; but she had been in hospital for three weeks prior to losing her fight. That amount of time alone in the evenings (I was at the hospital from early in the mornings until late in the evenings) gave me, for lack of a better word, “practice” in being all alone. Still, nothing ever compensates for losing every bright star in my universe. She was truly more than half of the person that I was, and now there is only emptiness where there was light and laughter.
