Kids are VORACIOUS for information. They’re genetically programmed to learn. Which makes it far too easy to indoctrinate them.

Send them to a tax payer funded private school, where they can learn all about Jesus, and little else.

When they learn their lessons on capitalism, the big bullies will force the smaller kids to slave away in menial labor for a few pennies, while they (the bullies) take in the financial results of that labor.

AZ has had mail-in voting for decades. But thanks to Trump and the Repubs lying about election fraud, the Repub legislature wants to ban mail-in ballots, plus eliminate early voting. Considering their huge elderly population and the ever-increasing heat, requiring everyone to stand in line on Election Day is ridiculous and cruel.

Christians realize their god, belief systems, and superstitions just don’t have the power to overcome reality anymore. Forcing their children to restrict their intelligence to fit christianity really won’t benefit them, and will certainly severely damage their children’s future. The Darwin effect has its focus on religion.

The Children’s Story… but not just for children by James Clavell

‘It was a simple incident in the life of James Clavell—a talk with his young daughter just home from school—that inspired this chilling tale of what could happen in twenty-five quietly devastating minutes. He writes, "The Children’s Story came into being that day. It was then that I really realized how vulnerable my child’s mind was —any mind, for that matter—under controlled circumstances. Normally I write and rewrite and re-rewrite, but this story came quickly—almost by itself. Barely three words were changed. It pleases me greatly because I kept asking the questions…

Questions like, What’s the use of ‘I pledge allegiance’ without understanding? Like Why is it so easy to divert thoughts? Like What is freedom? and Why is so hard to explain.’

I know the folks in Arizona have some serious problems dealing with reality. 25 years ago when we were deciding on a winter home we chose California instead of Arizona because of the schizophrenic attitude toward their migrant workers. A lot of them were not migrant — they had lived in the state and contributed to the state’s economy for decades, but their status was that they were illegal.Arizona absolutely relied on those workers for their farming community and their agricultural product, yet, after working hours, they prosecuted them like they were a hated minority, even worse than black workers. (and that is saying something). And there was no covering up the attitude of hate toward those essential workers. It was like the state of Arizona was PROUD of their hate.

We were unwilling to spend our winter months in community with such blindness to their own need for people who helped make them successful. Racial hate is an ugly thing.

Socialism and Communism? What nonsense! Does the cartoonist even know the definitions? This country’s parties are right of center and far-right. The big educational push has been by dark money funding far-right think tanks that over decades have pushed their ideas on our political class and especially on judges. Read Dark Money by Jane Mayer.

Yes, reading and writing, science and math are socialist propaganda to ruin our kids. Arizona is a Republican majority state which means the majority of teachers are Republicans (teachers are members of the community and reflect the population they serve). But for those who want to force THEIR agenda on children, the best way to do so is to say that’s what is being done by others. Just like those screaming “parents should choose what their children read” (which I agree with) are the ones demanding to decide what other parent’s children will have access to.
