My first election was Nixon-McGovern in 1972. Whenever I encountered a Nixon supporter, I would ask, “How can you support him? The man is a felon”. The answer was usually along the lines of, “I know. Isn’t it great?” Criminality is seen as a plus for Republican candidates. The worse the crime, the greater the support.

By Dem standards, no lib has ever been a crook.

The only bright spot I can see in today’s SCOTUS decision trashing Roe v. Wade — the only bright spot — is that it may piss off so many women that they’ll turn out in droves in November to vote every last living Republican on the planet out of office.

The tape got Nixon. Trump had a crew filming personal stuff and they turned the film over to the Nov 6 comm and that will be the subject of the next televised meeting.
