Time to review what happened during that TV pilot episode we’ve been talking about here for the last few weeks, so if you’ve been reading the comments here, this will be review.
Good to know that Tracy is awaiting a warrant once again. Once he gets his warrant, I suppose there will be a friendly visit (or not so friendly) to Mr. Memory’s premises.
Not quite sure why Tracy & Sam need to wait around for a warrant. According to this story, Mr. Memory is a parolee … & as far as I know, parolees don’t have the same rights & protections as non-parolees … & they can have their parole revoked just on suspicion they’ve violated it or have re-engaged. in criminal activity. Seems like Mike is once again dragging a story out, instead of just getting the train to the station in the fastest, most direct way possible, to use a phrase I’ve heard from professional editors.

Love the “Caution Piranhas” sign on the fish tank. It’s great to see that Memory is a safety conscious supervillain. Reminds me of the OSHA signs that Blofeld had posted around his secret oil rig headquarters in Diamonds are Forever.

2-SAM: Welllll…you landed on Memory pretty quick for these bank jobs and he’s never been involved in any kind of robbery before. Maybe you…and I’m not saying its true…but maybe you just want to get even for that piranha Dick-Dunking he gave you?

1-DT: So Memory was an old hippie who wore a headband and prided himself on the prog rock and deep cuts he listened to on an elaborate FM Radio he made that brought in all the pirate stations. SO, I knew if I tuned into the drive-time J Puzzle Whiz Top 10 Hit Parade on WAKY Radio and cranked it up he would blow a gasket.
2-CHIEF ON WRIST RADIO: CALLING DICK TRACY!
DT: Deek Tracy is no here, seen-yor. Hee hee.
CHIEF: WHO IS THIS? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH TRACY, YOU FIEND!
DT: Nothing seen-yor. You have called the wrong number. CHIEF: OH! Sorry. I’ll try again. SAM: Tracy, you dog!
CHIEF: CALLING DICK TRACY!
DT: Herro? No Dick Tlacy. You make long numba, Joe.
