I don’t get it: Why get rid of the stone? That’s the whole point of the sword in the stone in the first place: No one who is unworthy will be able to pull the sword out. So the only reason to remove it is to not have a king at all…
The Knights of the Round Table dissolved so it’s back to the warehouse for storage and discovery centuries from now….
