Such a clever story arc.
that crashing sound was the fourth wall…
If I did not read comics-I would not be here to comment!
From the looks of our local paper, there won’t be papers to publish comic strips any more and the only place to read them will be online.

Many people read THIS strip, Katy!!

Normally I don’t read the comics, but for some reason today I did.
wow katy is an amazingly good artist for her age!!
“I wuv you gross coffee!” is a line that speaks to me personally, great writing
And thus we move into metafiction
She got his hair right, his nose too, but nailed those ears!
There ARE a few of us anachronistic barstards out here, you know…
Do I hear a Fourth Wall being broken?
In this arc, Katy plays the role of Rob Harrell’s personal anxiety demon.
Okay, just wrong on so many levels. Now I feel like reading a book or something more uplifting. ..maybe a hallmark card.
Lots of us still read comic strips.
Yes, it’s Meta-Schmadam!

HEY! I recent being called a nobody.
He ought to be flattered! Is it flattering?
Oh there are still a few of us die hards around……

I can’t tell if this strip is referencing something… Garfield? Calvin and Hobbes? It’s just under the surface, I’m sure, but I can’t quite catch it.
The comic strip would never show Katy’s black and blue heinie that should result from her writing about her father that way. I know mine would have have been.
“Nobody ever reads comics anymore” she says as she’s doing research for the next strip….
I do, but not this story line.
We are not nobody!
