Trump begged and ultimately tried to extort Ukrainian President Zelensky to manufacture dirt on Hunter Biden that Trump himself knows full well did not exist.

And now Trump is begging his old boss and political master, Vladimir Putin, to manufacture dirt on Hunter Biden that Trump himself knows full well did not exist, notwithstanding that Putin is rather preoccupied with the war he started and is now losing to the aforementioned President Zelensky.

And whatever Hunter Biden did or did not do, or his laptop, his tax violations, his whatever are ONE BIG TRUMPUBLIQAN SMOKE SCREEN GASLIGHTING DISTRACTION from the crimes and cover ups of Trump, his own children (who, UNLIKE HUNTER, actually held official government positions and positions running their fathers’ businesses), his staff and others complicit in the legislative (Cruz, Hawley, Tuberville, Greene, Boebert, Gaetz, Gohmert, Gosar).

Hunter Biden is a big boy. He is an adult. He is free to contract with PRIVATE CORPORATIONS.

History is replete with naughty relatives of presidents — corrupt deals by Don Nixon, Billy Carter’s naughty extracurricular activities and beer deals (remember “Billy Beer”?), forgery of official state documents by the Bush twins trying to get into bars while underage (compare that with the scandal-free academic brilliance of Chelsea Clinton or Amy Carter). If Hunter Biden made some shady deals and cheated on taxes, he was a private citizen and his actions had ZERO INVOLVEMENT OF JOE BIDEN.

Noam Chomsky warns of ‘the most dangerous point in human history’

Chomsky, who is 93, said the current state of geopolitics brings to mind the “grim cloud of fascism” that hung over Europe during his childhood in the 1930s.

“It’s just gotten worse,” he said. “We are now facing the prospect of destruction of organized human life on Earth.”

Aside from the threat of nuclear war, he said, the world is facing the planetary emergency and the refusal of wealthy countries to mitigate the crisis by taking sufficient action to draw down fossil fuel emissions and shift to renewable energy sources.

With the Democratic Party in the U.S. facing plummeting poll numbers and failing to deliver bold climate action and anti-poverty measures, the government could soon be in the hands of the Republican Party—which, because of the “fanaticism” of former President Donald Trump, Chomsky said, “barely regards climate change as a serious problem.”

“That’s a death warrant to the species,” he said.

Trump, who continues to falsely claim that the 2020 election was “rigged” in favor of Biden, has begun holding campaign rallies where he’s doubled down on spreading the “Big Lie” about his election loss.

“I can remember listening to Hitler’s speeches on the radio. I didn’t understand the words, I was six years old,” Chomsky told The New Statesman. “But I understood the mood. And it was frightening and terrifying. And when you watch one of Trump’s rallies that can’t fail to come to mind.”
