There was an Opera Pavilion at the Cincinnati Zoo. The opera singers were often accompanied by the peacocks and other critters. One summer I was there to watch a ballet performance. At one point, a duck came waddling down the aisle just as the ballerinas were performing dance moves that resembled a waddling duck.

Peacocks do make a very scary and loud screetch. Now I’m wondering how Pippin gained his knowledge of opera…he is deeper than he seems.

Quite the costume! He’s performing in book two of “Tales Of Hoffman” no doubt.

Better than many coloratura sopranos. I’ve never heard one that didn’t have serious pitch problems.

I’ve always thought peacocks are looking for a guy named Al. “Hey Al!”
