It’s bad when you keep voting for oil industry shills who actively work to hamstring the alternative energy sector.

It is also too bad when you keep buying gas guzzlers. Gas is less than 4 dollars where I live.

Imagine if Biden really did control gas prices.

How many nanoseconds would it be before Republicans* would DEMAND that power be removed from him? By constitutional amendment, if necessary.

If you want cheap gas, Ramirez, you can always go to Venezuela, Libya, or Iran.

The US is in the lower middle ranking of global gas prices.

Completely ignoring the fact that fuel prices are dropping. Chicago never got close to the prices in this cartoon. Ridiculous.

Then maybe Trump should have handled the pandemic better and not initiated a trade war with China. Elections have consequences and this is a big one from the Trump debacle.

Don’t worry. Elizabeth Warren will push for the loan to be forgiven. What a loser she is.

Gee – I wonder why so many people are leaving California? Surely their liberal policies helped to make that state a virtual utopia?

Entirely due to aggressive drilling just before the price of oil crashed. Companies went bankrupt or couldn’t get financing. Republicans seem to think you can plant an apple seed and pick apples next month. This supports their propaganda against the current administration which is trying to dig out of the holes Republicans put the economy, the environment and foreign relations in!

Sustainable energy resources are likely to be less volatile in price fluctuations. And less controllable by government regulation. Just thinking as a sci-fi futurist!

Enlighten us, Mikey. Give us a specific Biden policy that affects the current production of crude oil, thus raising the world oil prices.

Oh, so now it’s “Biden Climate Policies” that account for the spike (and then sudden decline) in oil prices on the global market? What am I missing? And when did “Biden Climate Policies” go into effect?

Wow, with a 15 year fixed loan you could buy an electric car AND the solar panels to charge it. Probably save tens of thousands compared to a gas guzzling SUV.

Gas prices are going down, I blame Biden.

Gas prices are starting to go down that’s because the cost of crude oil has dipped below $100 a barrel. Keep a close eye on these gas prices because in the next few weeks you’ll start to see the numbers going down for the first time since the start of the war in Ukraine.

I have little sympathy for people who bitch about the cost of fuel when they’re driving around in 4WD monster trucks or huge SUVs that get maybe 10 miles to the gallon. Gas prices go through cycles depending on the season, the weather, and — most importantly — international events usually beyond our control. Just because gas was cheap a year ago doesn’t mean it will be this year, or next. The vehicle you buy should reflect that uncertainty (though it won’t matter much if you drive an electric vehicle).
