A few years ago we had some seasonal gummi candies that didn’t sell out by the end of the holiday season. They were cheaper then our regular gummis to begin with. So we marked them down lower for a couple weeks. Still couldn’t sell them. We decided that if they were just going to sit that we might as well make a profit on what ones we could sell before they went stale. We changed them to the same price as the regular, non seasonal gummis, so higher than their original price, and sold out of them in under 24 hours.
Kind of like how health care is run here. We pay more than any other industrialized country and yet people fight to keep paying outrageous health care costs because ‘you get what you pay for’ and over paying for it somehow makes it better.
In case you hadn’t noticed, Gaylord, the country’s financial future isn’t all that rosy just now. Broomie’s economic exaggeration has gone too far for success; so also the country’s finances….

The $100 cup of coffee served at a Japanese tea-house got worldwide publicity. Old marketing trick indeed.

I don’t care what the cost is, I wouldn’t want to drink any lemonade she made!

Kind of like how Stephen Colbert make $10 million a year.

Try a different marketing ploy, say they are gluten free, non-GMO, and organic and you will sell out at that price.
