Today is a good day, today I learned something.

The art is different. Did we start over? RIP, Richard Thompson.

I was absolutely incensed when I discovered I had to go to school for twelve years. I knew how to read when I started first grade, and both of my parents told me “if you can read, you can do anything”, so I figured one or two days at the local elementary school was all I needed.

Boy! Was I in for a big surprise!

If you don’t want to learning anything new today Alice, DON’T ask Petey about the Chinese Room…

Brothers are so lousy at giving advice.

Are these early comics, or drawn by a guest artist? The style is very different.

I find it hard to believe that Petie would be browsing through a collection of Searle drawings. They would blow all his fuses simultaneously.

What happened? This comic doesn’t look right.

Haha! Wow, nice, lots of little gems in this one, all tied up in a bow as Petey contemplates the Chinese room thought problem. Searle’s advice, via Petey, is not bad, Alice.

Alice, this won’t be the last time your little heart is stressed, but don’t worry, you are already smarter than a computer, though maybe not for much longer.

Just think, Alice. Maybe tomorrow you can count to 7.

Alexander Pope wrote “A little learning is a dangerous thing….” In this case, it’s more like “a Little (Alice) learning is a dangerous, and painful, thing.” Petey’s advice is righteous but hard for his little sis.
