@Ling Today’s strip IS funny but a variation of a theme with our Hero Mr Andrew Capp ending up in the canal :o) my avatar is a poster of a Lady Lawyer offering her legal services , after all no man has ever won an argument against a woman ,I never have not even against our Calico queen cat Bella, have you? how was your day? ours should be quite calm I hope , we are both in a good mood , no shopping or errands to run , just stayin the house and keep hydrated because it’ cold outside, keep safe and a bientot pal
Too bad he didn’t ask, “Do you know the way to Mulberry Street?” March 2nd is Dr. Seuss’ (Theodor Seuss Geisel’s) birthday and is celebrated as National Read Across America Day and the Seuss book “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street” is one of six that have been banned.
This reminds me of a time back when I used to walk around the lake at a college where I live. Parents of a prospective student were taken on a tour. There was no need to go near the lake, and the woman got mad when her long skirt got messed up in the mud. The tour guide didn’t seem apologetic.

Some people trust their GPS, some people trust Andy. Both can get you in trouble.

He’s taking you on a shortcut across the river.

That man must be new in town.
Otherwise, he’d know better than to ask that worthless bum anything.

Andy should have told the daft bloke that he was taking the short cut.

Andy should be a Canal tour guide, he could handle that job.

Too bad there isn’t a bridge over that part of the canal.
