The following is dedicated to my fellow O.F.W.T.J. Society member, Steve Silver. (Aside to himself: sorry, Steverino – I could only clobber your Jewish side this time. Your Italian heritage will have to wait…)

The first men land on Mars and get out of their space capsule. Then from around a big rock comes a ten foot tall green-skinned woman wearing a huge amount of gold jewelry. “Welcome to Mars, gentlemen,” she says.Taken aback, the astronaut’s leader says, “Wow — are all Martian women ten feet tall?”

“Well…some are a bit taller, some are a bit shorter. But I’m about average.”

“And your skin color,” the astronaut persists. “Are all Martian women green-skinned?”

“Well…some are lighter green, some are darker. Again, I’m about average.”

“And do they all wear so much gold jewelry?”

    “Well…not the shiksas.”

Did Mr. Lad see Jesus in his cornflake ?  That would be one heckuva portrait.

But how big is that Swiss flag on Mount Säntis? Jason Snake Lover can’t up one inch or foot or some measurement based on this factoid.

A while back there was a RBION drawing regarding the James Webb Space Telescope. Here’s a link to an update on the progress made in focusing the 18 mirrors:. https://petapixel.com/2022/02/28/james-webb-space-telescope-captures-first-photo-with-aligned-mirrors/

To support my friend eromlig in nudging stevesilver48, here’s something about the Italian side of steve’s heritage.

A French spy, an English spy, and an Italian spy were sent to the USSR. Unfortunately, they were caught within a few days and held in captivity for a week. Then they were tortured for information.

The French spy was first. They tied him up, tortured him, and after 20 minutes he gave them all his information.

The English spy fared the same. After being tied up and tortured for 20 minutes, he gave in and gave up all his information.

But when they tried the same with the Italian, he refused to give up anything and stayed tied to the chair for 3 hours until the Russians gave up and threw him back in the cell.

“How did you do that!” The other two were amazed at his endurance. “I wanted to give up all my information,” replied the Italian. “But they tied my hands, so I couldn’t talk.”

    Until next time.

Last time I looked at my bank statement, in Europe we’re using euros () (and the Swiss use their francs)…

As of this morning, 125 of that strange, foreign currency, featured today on RBION, is worth 111.645 real money (or 114.44 Swiss francs)…

There should be three choices, believe it, or not, or who cares.

A big YAWN today. I did notice, however, for the first time, the RBION icon guy looks a little bit like Putin. About an hour after invading Ukraine.

I’d like to know when they take down the flag, since they have to put it up every year.

If you look hard enough you can see anything in a corn flake or a grill cheese sandwich.

    Tour guide Mount Santis, Switzerland

A guide was leading a group of people to secure the world’s largest flag on the cliff face.

He pointed at the fairly majestic looking peak and said

“This one is most popular with mountain climbers.”

One of the team asks, “How hard is this challenge?”

“Well, the ascent, depending on skill level can take between two and five hours.”

“Oh, that’s not so bad! What about the descent?”

“The descent, again depending on your skill level, takes anywhere between 4 hours and 30 seconds.”

In a very early Peanuts strip, poor ol’ Charlie Brown open his box of cornflakes expecting to find a marble as promised on the box. Instead, he got a box of marbles and one cornflake. Then on the radio it was announced the cornflake company went out of business because of all the boxes that didn’t get marbles…..
