I noticed Goodwin never pointed out the injustice of appointing white people over qualified black women.

What it’s not: Badwyn’s business (or anyone else except the President and the Senate fore Advise and Consent). What else it’s not: A problem.

Why is it the wrong wingers can’t understand that there are qualified black women for the position? After the political hacks Trump put on the Supreme Court she will be a welcome change.

Payne level stupid. Is there no one in these right wing cartoonists anymore that can demonstrate any level of intellect? At one time, in the rather distant past (20-30 years ago), conservative cartoonist actually could present a cogent viewpoint.

Conserves are scared of a more balanced court. That’s why they stacked the Supreme Court with single minded simpletons who pander to the ultra right wing evangelicals.

Remember that Reagan promised to put a woman on the Supreme Court if he were elected—and he did. Was that pandering? Trump promised to put anti-abortionists on the Court, and he did. Was that pandering?

And that future justice could be processed in less than 2 months, when Obama couldn’t get Garland checked out because the ll months wasn’t long enough. A leader’s bias isn’t the problem. Ronald Reagan made a similar campaign promise to nominate the first Woman to the SCOTUS and he lived up to that promise. So what is the difference?

Biden is just checking a box, and anyone with a brain knows it. He could care less if the nominee is a radical – or even qualified.

Thomas was appointed because he was Black. Scalia because he was Italian-American. O’Connor because she was a woman. (And Reagan promised to appoint a woman when running for office.) Barrett because she was a woman. Meirs because she was Bush’s cleaning lady.
