Good answer since there is not enough data to give a quantitative answer. For an accurate answer, you need to know the conditioning and exercise endurance capacity of the swimmer. You can’t assume that a swimmer will keep up the same pace for 1000 meter as they were able to swim for 200 meters. But on the other hand she had no data that the swimmer was actually in a pool. Could have been a lake. Clearly I am thinking way too much this morning…
Thanks for the laugh. I think we’ve all had moments like that. One evening when I was in 8th grade, I thought the algebra homework was easy. I actually understood it and could do it without help. Well, yeah. I got every stinking one of them wrong. That’s why they were easy. The teacher was kind enough to add some points to my score so I got a D on it, because I did actually do the work.

Wow, it took her 4 minutes and 58 seconds less than it took Dan to swim the 1,000 meters.

This is a right-brain answer to a left-brain question. It’s wrong, but it’s creative.

Hell mathical or not, I find it funny. A dim bulb is better then a dead bulb.
