This is a tiresome arc…

Disarmed. Now Adam is really in a pickle.

That sounds strangely inappropriate.

This story arc is really dill, er, dull.

Strangely, this reminds me of a line from “A League of Their Own.” Jon Lovit’s character gets asked to join a group to go out and get a drink (I believe.) He declines, saying “We’ve been on the road awhile. I’m gonna go home and give the wife a pickle tickle.”
