Apostrophes are no part of grammar. They are a feature of orthography. It’s high time that people learned the difference.

Jonathan Young is drawn performing chin-ups, palms facing you. I wonder if he could perform the same number of pull-ups, palms facing away? I find body weight pull-ups to be more difficult to perform than chin-ups. You have to be a very strong individual to do these exercises at all, much less with 100 lbs hanging on you.

I believe that chin-ups (calisthenics) with a back pack is common in US Special Forces training.

Isn’t charcuterie a pretentious word for snack tray. And why is a barista someone who makes my coffee at Starbucks but the person who makes my coffee at McDonald’s isn’t.
