The average distance for a photo head shot (no zoom) is 4 to 6 feet. How big is that head!!?

I still think Ande’s appearance is a nod to Maurice Sendak.

I brought home my tenth-grade school pictures and showed them to Mum. “That’s an awful picture”, she proclaimed, and then held it up next to my face. “But it looks just like you.”

She claims she doesn’t remember saying that. Obviously, I do.

My baby teeth were all smashed and broken and the teacher had given me some grief about them. I would not let the photographer see my broken teeth.
