Think of it as being more like a dangerous sport with no referees. You can play if you want, but it doesn’t seem like a spectator sport to me. Wish these cartoonists would find something more … spectator worthy … to draw about.
Well, damn, skippy – a name change was supposed to make it all better – ’course adding that twisted infinity symbol at the front does make it a lot harder to sue them…
Are we more worried about the messenger rather than the sources of the messages it delivers? The true problems are the creators of trash, hatred, and propaganda and the millions of ignorant and gullible who buy into the trash, hatred, and propaganda. Facebook garbage is only a dangerous (and astronomically profitable) manifestation of more serious human failings. Attacking the manifestation will never cure the failings and source of the problems. “We have met the enemy and he is us”.
“Altria Group, Inc. (previously known as Philip Morris Companies, Inc.) is an American corporation and one of the world’s largest producers and marketers of tobacco, cigarettes and related products.”
“Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL) … built a pesticide plant in Bhopal, India, which gained worldwide attention as a result of the Bhopal disaster. On 3 December 1984, a release of methyl isocyanate (MIC) gas killed more than 3300 people…. In 1994, UCC sold its entire stake in UCIL to Mcleod Russel India Limited of Calcutta, which renamed the company Eveready Industries India Limited.”
Those were clearly rebrandings designed to obfuscate. Less insidious was Federal Express changing its name to the very similar FedEx because it was more readily pronounceable (and also because it had a pretty good reputation to begin with that it wasn’t trying to conceal).
It’s time to take “facebook” or what ever he wants to call it, down! Single handedly tearing this country apart. Treasonous. Lock the dippy doo moron up.
I find it most interesting that Meta has stolen the Australian Broadcasting Commissions (ABC) infiniti logo. At first glance his looks a little different but when you see the animated version both the ABC and Meta ones are identical but Meta starts/stops theirs in a different part of the sequence.

I’ll repeat what I said the other day. A skunk by any other name would still stink.

I saw Marky being interviewed on TV once. He genuinely gave me the impression that he is somewhere on the autism spectrum.

Facebooks value is in looking up childhood friends and Classmates not politics. Should have stayed in your lane Zuck with more Puppy Pix & Cat memes.
