There are also chapters in the same book that spell out the Republican Party of Trump health care plan and their plan to address the climate crisis.

Maybe it could list the number of Native Americans killed during the white colonization of their lands, it is estimated that when the settlers arrived there were 60 million Native Americans, 100 years later that number had dropped to 6 million with he dead dying from disease, hunger and slaughter, ever notice no one mentions reparations for them, a bit odd since we still own their land.

I’ve never heard someone who screams loudly about how horrible CRT is be able to explain what it is without a complete rant that was just full of racism and fear mongering but absolutely zero facts. And they all quote the same party BS verbatim and without fail.

Hate, fear, and fear mongering without any concept of what they’re afraid of, and if that isn’t a complete and total repeat of what the Nazis did to Germany in the 1930’s, what is? But they swear up and down that they’re patriots, but just what kind of Fatherland do they want to see if that’s the sum total of what they spew? If that blind, baseless, ignorant hate is all they have then there’s no reasoning with them because that’s just mass insanity. This has to stop and those who feed these fears and hate need to be forced out of politics and sent to jail for seduction and insurrection. Appeasement didn’t work in the 1930’s and it won’t work now.

Bring on the hearings and trials for 1/6 and put an end to this. If that doesn’t happen we know what history served up after the propaganda and hate and the violent repression of the third Reich got its rolling start. Does anyone want this to go any further and reach that point? The Turd Reich needs to be stopped now. We don’t have years to wait and to try to negotiate with seditionists and traitors. And we don’t want to pay the price for that waiting again.

Youngkin is elected, bans the teaching of CRT his first day in office. You are an eighth grade American history teacher, what do you tell your students? Slavery was cruel/ brutal system both physically and emotional that enriched the white slave holder only to be told to clean out your desk when a parent(whose 7th grandfather owned slaves) complains you are teaching CRT? Or slavery was beneficial to both the slave owner and the slave who was introduced to Western Civilization? Actually up until about 1975 Virginia history textbooks informed the students slaves were happy and loved their masters who treated them as if they were family.

Around here, politicians aren’t sure what CRT is – but that doesn’t stop them from bloviating about it… CRT is not taught in our public schools, but politicians claim that it is being taught anyway… so the politicians are wasting time and tax dollars passing new laws against teaching CRT and to punish those accused of teaching it, written weakly so they will probably not hold up in court… all for the sake of sound bites and political points…

In the meantime Texas doofus Governor wants to remove over 800 books that he considers porn and inappropriate from libraries. The list is ridiculous. Talk about cancel culture.

I’ve read the Republican health care plan, written in great detail in invisible ink. It’s “beautiful”, “terrific,”, “phenomenal” and “fantastic”. Or so I’ve heard.

And just two weeks away. For the last two years.

What’s so scary about CRT anyway? It’s primarily a discussion of how the law has supported segregation and discrimination. Who doesn’t know that?

Not this book again – it looks just like Trump’s ADA replacement plan… and his Infrastructure Week… and his promised second round of tax cuts that he announced right before the 2018 midterm elections… and the RNC’s 2020 platform…

The Turd Reich figures that if CRT is banned, then their pride in Ametica’s racist history goes untatnished. That’s idiocy of course but it just goes to show that those fools have no problem tinkering with the Bill of Rights, as long as it doesn’t have an effect on their rich masters. The Turd Reich is willing to surrender to censorship, lies, and propaganda just like Germans did in the 30’s. I don’t think that’s a real smart way to go,, do you?

It’s especially ironic that they want to censor their history of racism but also throw the wool of their own eyes and those of their ilk by censoring a history of fascism. They are happy giving up freedoms because they don’t want the responsibility of history. Scary stuff, isn’t it?

Actually, it would not be a bad idea to teach high school juniors about the history of slavery and its consequences. I wrote a term paper about the United Nations in a Junior English class and the crusades in senior English and those were the most enlightening things I did in high school. I left Union County New Mexico High School a confirmed world government advocate and a trending athirst.

The Rs have never come up with a replacement health plan because the Affordable Care Act WAS the Rs health plan when they actually had ideas and programs — a long, long time ago, before that guy in the Senate from Utah was governor of Massachusetts. Think of that — it included personal responsibility as part of the plan to make it work, which is one of the reasons they hated it so when it became law.
