More candy corn, right?

That reminded me to check the post-Halloween sales today!

I have leftover candy, too.

Smart kids, good idea to hand over the candy—who knows what they’d come up with!

Not sure those sales work any more. I waited in vain this year for the discontinued Cadbury Eggs after Easter (the ones with fudge or peanut butter filling) but no joy, unlike last year, when I could find whole boxes of them dirt cheap right up to Columbus Day.

We still 90% of what we bought, so no sales needed.

We didn’t have a single kid show up last night. So I’ll have to eat all the M&Ms myself.

is that a bag of Tootsie Rolls? i loved them when i was a kid!

There’s a lot less free-range trick or treating than there used to be— especially with localities organizing their own Halloween events.

Wait, aren’t you the same kids that TPed the house?

Nope, struck out at 3 stores today for clearance candy. Bummer.

Saw myself in the mirror last night, decided I really need to slice off a lotta poundage !! So very little candy, if any. Besides, maybe I can get a head start on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

My grocery store only had Christmas candy on Halloween morning.
