The point of the withdrawal was to end the idiocy that was our invasion of Afghanistan. What, exactly would leaving troop there accomplish that hadn’t been accomplished in the preceding 20 years of occupation?

I doubt that Biden remembers anything that happened yesterday or the day before. The only thing he remembers is his box of ice cream.

Remember when all the previous generals said that another surge would do the trick? How did that work out?

Funny how conservatives still swoon over Trump, whose contempt for truth is both agonizing and risible.

Continuing Trumps ‘Crooked Hillary’-tactics is their best chance of winning. “Trump is a compulsive liar, but so is Clinton, so you might as well vote for Trump.”

If Trump was still President Gary could not print this since all Trump did was lie. We had to pull out all of our troops in the treaty that Trump made with the Taliban

Leave 2500 troops to get over-run so that Varvie can ’toon about THAT.

In the surrender agreement tRump made with the Taliban in February of 2020 we could not leave 2,500 troops after our pullout. Just last month tRump bragged about having “boxed in” Biden.

Gary ignores the truth one more time. The former guy and his cult continue to lie to us every day.

Sure Leave 2,500 troops in Afghanistan so that we can return to the good old days of Firefights and casualties.

2,500 troops is too small to fight but not to small to get killed. It was a trojan horse to get us “Back into the Fight” which is what the Pentagon, The Republicans and Gary Varvell wanted. More casualties for a lost cause.

The agreement TFG signed off on called for a total withdrawal.

I find it very odd that Gary Varvel would, as conservative as Gary is, dare compare Biden to Washington. Gary will need to confess to the an NRA priest for his vile sin.

At this point it’s unfair to call Biden a liar. He does have Alzheimer’s after all, so forgetting something is not out of the question.

So you are accepting and saying that Biden won the election? Good for you. Are you also intentionally ignoring the lies told by the failure before Biden? I suppose its too much to expect you to acknowledge the log in your own eye Gary. You aren’t really a good Christian are you?

That WAS a pretty large untruth, there. I liked Milley’s response, though: The military is not supposed to be in the business of deciding what to do, but following orders. Suggest, even urge, but not decide.

Note that he’s also a pragmatist: See how he reached out to China…

Something I found is people who OK with being lied to, seem to support Trump. Those who can see though lies and dislike being liked to, dislike Trump.

This cartoon is simply Vavelous. Hey Gary, fair is fair. If you’re going to talk about presidential lies, you should mention how the last guy told over 30,000 lies in his four years, starting on his first day with his claim of have a much bigger crowd at his inauguration than Obama had, which was immediately debunked by the news photos of the crowd. There was also one interview where the interviewer played a video of Trump saying something and Trump said, “I didn’t say that.”

While we’re on the subject of dishonesty, what about Trump’s call to Brad Raffensperger demanding that he find 11,080 votes for Trump so he could overturn the election. And then there was the Arizona election audit which said that Biden got even more votes than had been listed before and then Trump said that the audit proved that he had won.

You accept (and ignore) Trump’s many, many lies and then attack Biden for not being honest enough. Matthew 23:24 talks about “Swallowing camels while straining out gnats”…

Milley mentioned yesterday that if some troops were left that he’d request 30,000 more.

I don’t get it. Or else, I must have missed it when Biden claimed that his drastic pull-out was on the advice of “his” (as Trumpie would put it) generals.
