Well it looks like yet again the question of vaccine mandates is going to the SCOTUS and once again the court’s decision will be obeyed by some and ignored by others. Common sense never seems to be the ruling factor in issues of health.

George Washington ordered the entire Revolutionary Army be vaccinated against small pox. Granted, there was only a preamble and no actual Constitution yet, but as a founding father, pretty sure that would make him pro vaccine mandates.

I’ve lost my patience too. Bok may be willing to risk his health and that of the others who cannot be effectively vaccinated (as opposed to those who choose not), but I’m DONE with that BS. You’re free to not get vaccinated. And we, the society here, are free to impose strict sanctions on your behavior if you choose that option. All the way from “pay for your OWN damn health insurance” through “No, you may NOT attend sport events” to “To work here, you must be vaccinated. Jab or quit: Choose one.”

And in NO WAY AT ALL is my opinion, nor that of Joe Biden, an intrusion on constitutional rights. If you cannot see that, you ARE part of the problem.

Could you be specific what part of the Constitution you feel is being violated here? Because the Supreme Court has ruled, on multiple occasions, that vaccine mandates are constitutional.

Nothing in the Constitution supersedes the personal responsibility to be NOT BE A PUBLIC MENACE. In fact, the Constitution very clearly demands that it is the responsiblity of the government to PROTECT THE GENERAL WELFARE, and news flash, Mongo; that means invoking Vaccine Mandates.

back to the topic of the cartoon: many of the same republican governors screaming about vaccine mandates have imposed them for their own residents. Mississippi has the highest childhood vaccination rate IN THE COUNTRY. They have NO religious exemption. So why are these states complaining? Because they erred in their approach to covid and don’t want a democrat to fix it?
