IMNVHO, “vaccination status” should be one of the primary triage criteria for admission or retention in the ER/ICU. Save space for everybody who ALSO needs intense medical care and who DID do the right thing w.r.t. vaccination.

The ICUs are approaching the stage where they’ll have to make triage choices. That usually means first treatment goes to those mostly likely to make it. That SHOULD mean giving care first to the vaccinated since they are far more likely to pull through. Of course, they’re also far less likely to end up in the ICU (for COVID) in the first place.

Unfortunately, the world has become too complicated for the impatient, self-destructive, superstitious, undereducated seeking imaginary simple solutions to complex problems that in reality require careful thought and consideration. Our humanity and ethics tell us we must continue to try to save the victims and punish the hypocritical criminals who — while protecting themselves using the best means, including vaccinations — feign willful ignorance to lead others astray.

New rules that need to be in place: If you come to the Hospital with a non-Covid related emergency that is a LEGITIMATE EMERGENCY, you should get first priority. If you come to the Hospital suffering from a Covid infection and you have been vaccinated, you get second priority. If you come to the hospital with a Covid infection and you are NOT Vaccinated, you wait UNTIL someone can spare the time to bother with you.

‘sincerely held religious belief’ is a fair excuse, as long as that includes the belief that faith will cure them, not medical care.

On the other hand, do we really want to ostracize them as lepers once were, sending them to isolated colonies; or requiring them when approaching healthy, vaccinated people, to proclaim, “Unclean! Unclean!”? Can we convince them that Jesus’ supposed healing touch is now distilled and expanded into vaccinations and preventive medical advisements?

The unvaccinated are last in line at Triage and will be housed in the “auxiliary facilities” under the tent behind the hospital.

And anyone who has self-medicated with ivermectin will be referred to a veterinarian for treatment – we wouldn’t want to get in the way of their self-identification as a domesticated animal.

    The unvaccinated and remumblicans are already pitchings a hissy fit so give them something to bitch about. Charge them for their medical care for refusing vaccinations. It will save taxpayers money and they’ll really have something to howl about. These things make them so happy. {<:}

There won’t be another lock down, we will just normalize dying of covid like we normalized dying of poverty, gun violence, police brutality, lack of housing and suicide, lack of medical care, etc.

Put them in tents in the parking lots, refuse to treat them without them paying a massive “IDIOT” Premium up front, and assign them the lowest triage level by default with no ability to increase it.

They made their beds, now let them die in them, far away from where they can infect others — especially the brave, selfless font like workers who have acted with nothing less than awe-inspiring bravery, nobility and selflessness to save even those selfish, irresponsible brats who refuse to use the good sense God gave baby ducks!

The unvaccinated mother who lost her four year old daughter to Covid saying she wished she had taken the vaccine seriously before… I lost a child at four and a half to a congenital condition I think medical science would know how to fix, now — a heart and respiratory weakness that didn’t have a definition in 1964. I still think about him every day.

The good news is that over 64% percent of Americans 16 and older are fully vaccinated and nearly three quarters of them have received at least one dose of the vaccine. The not so good news is that the unvaxxed will either get vaxxed or fall ill. It is a shame that it took their unvaxxed friends or family member to fall ill for them to get their jabs, but whatever works. There was a slight national dip in the number of new cases, raising experts hopes that Delta may start receding nationwide (like it had in India, The UK, Israel, etc.). But I am optimistic that this coming Fall we can see a receding of cases nationwide and by 2022 we can be back to some kind of normal.

Mr. Justice Harlan in JACOBSON v. COM. OF MASSACHUSETTS

    No. 70

    Argued: December 6, 1904

    Decided: February 20, 1905

“In every well-ordered society charged with the duty of conserving the safety of its members the rights of the individual in respect of his liberty may at times, under the pressure of great, dangers, be subjected to such restraint, to be enforced by reasonable regulations, as the safety of the general public may demand.

    (Conclusion)

“An American citizen, arriving at an American port on a vessel in which, during the voyage, there had been cases of yellow fever or Asiatic cholera, although apparently free from disease himself, may yet, in some circumstances, be held in quarantineagainst his will on board of such vessel or in a quarantine station, until it be ascertained by inspection, conducted with due diligence, that the danger of the spread of the disease, among the community at large has disappeared.”
