I think you’ll find that most people who are rich actually don’t spend their money on lots of fancy stuff like that.

Why buy a superyacht that you may use 3 or 4 weeks a year? Instead, lease one just for the 3 or 4 weeks you want to cruise in style.

I thought Antonio was also rich and could afford his own houseboat.

Most rich people spend their money on stupid and useless stuff. However, this family likes to use their money for things that matter.

One word, boat insurance. Well, two, but one idea. Boatinsurance?

When Navin R. Johnson got rich, he spent his money wisely on things like a rotating bed with pink chiffon and zebra stripes, a clam-shaped bathtub, and a big plaster lion for his office. Trickle-down economics does work.

Ray was the contractor supplying security to the Shark, so I think he is responsible for the loss.

If you have more homes than seasons in a year then you are not only rich, but crazy. Not crazy rich, but crazy.

Of course Kenny can ask Dana to buy Shark a new home. Dana can say no if she doesn’t want to. She can easily afford to buy him a new home. That would put Kenny’s mind at ease.

Usually those that got rich through hard work are frugal. It’s the worthless wealthy such as athletes, showbiz types, lottery winners, etc. that are frivolous with their money and waste it on useless expensive stuff hoping to impress. Just like a couple of entertainers that are reportedly spending 4 million a week to rent a yacht.

No? Like Bezos spending some $500 million on an ostentatious 417 ft super yacht and then needing to buy a regular yacht just to get to the big one?

I like Delray but not the situation with his relations . I know this is a comic strip but I can’t suspend disbelief when it comes to Dana, Kenny, Sharcane or Delray’s mother.

I remember a line from the book SCRUPLES: “…she knew which people were really rich, who was merely quite rich, and who was barely rich.”
