Boycott the Caliphate of Texas, AKA: Y’all Qaeda of Gilead!
The Talibangelists are trying to take over our country.
Pretty soon they’ll want the gays and the adulterers (female only) to be stoned, and I don’t mean high on weed.
Republicans are crying crocodile tears over the fate of women in Afghanistan, but actively trying to import the same tactics for how to treat women to conservative states.
A complete stranger can rape a woman in Texas and, if she gets pregnant, can sue for $10,000 plus attorneys’ fees against anyone who helps her abort it after six weeks.
“Pro-Life” where you force the woman to carry a fetus, yet deny her funding for access to prenatal care, checkups, nutrition, or even help pay for hospital costs for delivery. After you force her to give birth to a child she didn’t want or couldn’t take care of in the first place, you then abandon her (as if you ever supported her in the first place), and cut funding for food, housing, education and tell her that the child is her responsibility and if she doesn’t raise it “right” she will be put in jail.
“Pro-Life” indeed. You don’t give a crap about the mother, and none really for the child.
A bitter and never ending difference between two groups, but only one of many in these so-called United States. Seems the only thing we are united on is divisiveness.
This is in fact an interesting case of a lie becoming Conventional Wisdom. In both Afghanistan and Texas, theproblem is not only the males in the population. Many Afghani women are quite accepting of Islamic attitudes, because it is their religion and they were brought up with it; they are like Jewish Orthodox women who cover their heads with wigs so only their husbands can see their real hair. Is this a form of control, or are the women quite content to follow it as a sign of submission to god? Similarly, in Texas (and elsewhere) – it is NOT a question of “men controlling women’s bodies”. That is a total lie, because those who are against abortion are not thinking of controlling women, they are thinking of saving foetuses. That may become the same thing – but the INTENTION of men here is not “the control of women” but the saving of babies. Even more obvious is the fact that a lot of the anti-abortionists are women themselves. So how can we pretend that this is a male chauvinist attempt at misogyny? It isn’t – that is a lie being used by the Feminists to try and gain more control. Period.
Ban mask mandates – highest Covid death rate per capita in the world.
Support the NRA – have mass shootings in schools.
Capital punishment!
“Most people who are dying from the coronavirus epidemic were on their last legs anyway.” – Bill O’Reilly – 4/9/20. Well, grandpa was only 65, he was a “write off.”
“We’re human, we can’t live forever.” – Marjorie Taylor Greens – 8/13/2021. So it’s OK when children die because, we can’t live forever.
Yup, this is the PRO-Life party. No conflict in logic there.

The Texan GQP is (not really) considering whether they ought to rename themselves as “Texas Taliban”.

Makes sense the USA had to leave Afghanistan. Why bother with a long commute when you have the same thing at home.
