Wow! NRA supporters who think the NRA is the same as it was fifty years ago — or even 20 years ago — need to see how much Wayne LaPierre has reversed himself just in the last 20 years.
Excellent link. Recommended.
Not your father’s NRA.
Why would you think the censors would have a problem with references to Donald Trump’s tiny hands? It is a common popular reference.
Republicans: “You’re free to do whatever I want you to do.”
Melania’s “skills”? Apparently it is a lot more challenging to find Donnie’s itsy bitsy teenie weenie … uhm … (I’m gonna go with “hands” here?) than anyone realized.
The Republicans have always claimed that it they are only trying to stop illegal immigrants, but the truth comes out: they want to stop any and all immigration, even legal, except for their own hand-picked elitists.
The only way Trump is “transparent” is that all but the most blind can see right through him.
Once again, it is Trump voters who he hurts the most, and they will blindly “turn the other cheek” and he’ll smack ’em again.
Trump? Great businessman?
You mean #Brokeahontas?
LOCK. THEM. UP.
Hard work and smarts are not irrelevant (case in point, Warren Buffet and George Soros cited in the comment; I would add Barack Obama, born to a troubled mix-race family of meager means and zero advantage, who excelled and became “self made” with help available in his generation).
But hard work and smarts do not “trump” advantage by birth and inherited wealth.
By all accounts, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are lovely people; Harry seems to have inherited not only Charles’ wealth (by way of QEII), but also his late mother’s compassion and common touch.
But if Harry had not been born of royal lineage (Elizabeth II to Charles), he would just be another nice guy in the neighborhood.
The only reason we ooh and aah at a “royal” baby is purely an accident of ancestry and nothing to do with merit, much less hard work.
