Time really does flash right past Andy.

NO. My wife and I were married for 34 years and that time seems like it flew by, She died in March and that time is dragging by so slowly it is torture.

Flo should know that a busy man like Andy needs his rest. Drinking, darts, women, cards, drinking, horse, football, drinking, conning pints, pigeons, fishing, drinking, canal swimming, ducking debts, stress of court, drinking. Let him rest for holy sake. Time flashed by for Rip Van Winkle…..By the way, I’ve always thought that the “painting” over the couch WAS a blue sky.

The only flash Andy sees is when the taking his mug shot.

Up until now, I’ve never even heard of the phrase “blue sky thinking.” Amazing what you learn from reading comics.

Actually, having been where Andy’s at in this strip, I can tell you that time does just flashes by. Two hours can be gone before you know what’s even happened.
