Unless the angry female voice is that of June Laver. (As mentioned above by Polsixe.) Then it would be one story arc neatly segueing into the next one.
Tarzan waves goodbye and catches the first vine out of there.
It’s possible that pairs of socks do go missing. It’s just that one may not notice a missing pair the way they notice a single missing sock.
Gimla becomes another innocent victim of one of Tarzan’s asinine plans.
Having your arms folded tight against your chest is an awkward way to walk. You could easily lose your balance.
This storyline seems really familiar to me.
Here’s what it looks like (which may not be Johnson’s intention). Panel 1: Janis is enjoying her walk. Panel 2: Janis is pensive. Panel 3: Assuming that the mailbox is theirs, Janis is returning home and not really happy about that. Panel 4: Arlo was happy that Janis was away so her walk seemed short to him. Janis definitely has an unhappy look on her face due to being back home and Arlo’s remark. Now, given the relationship that we’ve observed between the two of them, that interpretation seems unlikely. But it sure looks to be that way.
Although Tarzan always seems to think that everything is his affair, I’d have to go along with Wazulu on this one. A shame, though, that the innocent brother has to suffer for the crimes of the guilty one.
Surely the guys sitting behind the twins could have chosen a safer viewing area.
Enjoyed playing baseball. Never really enjoyed watching it. However, I once went on a road trip with five other guys to watch the Minnesota Twins play the Yankees. A package deal – tickets to the game, hotel, and shuttle to the ballpark. Now that was a fun experience!
