    I remember reading the book “101 Dalmatians” when I was in fifth grade, long before either movie was made, and my favorite scene was when the dogs of London were speaking to each other via barking. The author was very descriptive of the types of barks, and how and why the dogs communicated. Then when the litter of puppies were abducted, that communication network went into full emergency mode. Reading the book always gives more details than a movie ever can!
